last ride....

just got back from my last ride in florida. the weather? 75 degrees, cool and breezy. oh man..ima gonna miss it even if the roads are flat and straight. i'm looking at power files and debating to have protein shake or pumpkin pie for recovery.

this past week has been awesome. i took the majority of the week off work and got some great riding in. hains point has been fun to get reaquinted with after a couple years of not going very often. thursday, cliff and I went to skyline drive. before we left, the weatherman said it would be raining up there but it seems like it would be more of a mist or light drizzle. As we pulled up to our parking spot, a downpour ensued with thunder and lighting and the whole works. We both felt compelled to carry on our mission since we had been in the car for about 3 hours running various errands before hand. After we got going, it turned into a super dooper ride. Still cold and rainy but pretty..i don't use this word often..epic. there..i said it.

so..now i'm in saint augustine with the family. this is what was rolling down 95 south yesterday for 11 hours

I got a nice 2:30 hour ride today..in the sun..on nothing but flat fast roads today just staring at my powermeter drilling it. very boring without it down here but pretty fun with it. I'm pretty excited for a week of surfing, biking, and hanging with stella and the family. I'm waking up early to do some more intervals on these flat roads and then I have my bro in law's wedding to go to. Alrighty!! maybe i'll have a beer. later

Jack Kent Cooke watched the game IN THE STANDS. Mr. T was there. Shula Vs. Gibbs! Getting the day off of school for the parade. Hail to the Redskins. Snyder..i hope you fall from your skybox.

i suck at the cyclocross
chuck hutch is on every group ride i do
chuck hutch destroys every group ride i do
i am not on other group rides..but chuck hutch is.
chuck hutch is also a mafia wars godfather
i like working out in the gym
i like jumping rope (makes me feel all UFC)
my legs hurt in a good way.
